Terrific Tuesday!

Terrific Tuesday? And by 'terrific' I mean busy and fun!

 

Yesterday started out as a normal Tuesday. K was excited about it being 'field trip day'. Every Tues/Thurs are field trip days at school and the trip this time was to the bowling alley and a picnic. Dommie and Poppo met them for some bowling fun!

 

After bowling, Dommie met them at the park and then brought K to visit me at work. I love it when he visits because it breaks up the day and he loves to see my work peeps too. He got a special gift from Ms Kelly (stay tuned for a pic) who had just been on vacation, AND we were having a birthday celebration for another coworker so Ms Teresa gave him some goodies to snack on. He was impressed by the size the blueberries. He said "they are as big as my eyeballs!"

 

 

Then, also like every Tues/Thurs, after school we headed to karate. K has been struggling a little bit with learning last half of something he already knows the first part of, but he was able to do it all on his own and you could see the excitement in his face...and his body language! I wish I could have gotten a picture of the thing he did with his arm....he said 'YES!'. His teacher was proud, I was proud, but mostly he was super proud of himself.

 

When  we got home, K said "you know, you said we could go to the pool if it wasn't raining". That was true so he threw on his suit and we walked over to the pool. After swimming lessons last week I was ready to see him do some on his own. This video captures it pretty well I think! I'm pretty proud of his progress!

  

 

 

Almost immediately as we both hit the pillow, we were OUT so needless to say, that's why this post is a day late!
