We started the day out a little sleepy. This was the first morning in a while that I had to wake K up early. He got a little spoiled while his school was closed last week. FINALLY he was on about an 8:30 wake up schedule (I can't seem to get him to do that on a normal weekend...ever) so today when 6am came, I think it was a shock to his system. It took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to get him out of the bed. He was so sweet though.
I picked him up a little early because today was another check of his ears. We were in 3 different rooms, but I only got pictures in 2. He was fascinated by the 'differences' in the rooms...the position of things, the different equipment, etc. He seemed to be entertaining the nurses with his many observations.
See the fake smile? My mom has always called those 'toothpaste grins'. I think he's got it down pat....but regardless, his smile is still the cutest to me. :)

We were trying to figure out dinner because my original plan wasn't going to work (I forgot to put it in the crock pot!). The you-can't-eat-breakfast-at-dinner-time kid decided he really wanted an egg for dinner...the one thing I didn't have and he didn't want to go back to the store...so off to Kountry Kitchen for dinner we went...where you can get breakfast anytime. He was mostly impressed by the pancake. I'm sure he'll be just as impressed tomorrow when he has the rest of it for a morning time breakfast. I don't think he realized that I brought home what he didn't eat...which was most of it because that thing was huge!

Once we got home, he decided he wanted to try my shower without worrying about getting shampoo in his eyes. Works for me!
