Seems appropriate...

Tonight I went with some work friends to an event at Wine and Design. Of course I liked the idea of what we painted bc I love the beach. I tried to add some color in the sky so it would go along with the blog. 

If you were sitting in one of those chairs...you'd have sandy toes and would be looking at a colorful sky.

Not too shabby, eh? :)

Popsicles, picnics, and PJs...oh my!

It was a P weekend. By that I mean that lots of what we did began with a P. 

Yesterday we Played..with the neighbor kids and another friend. Around lunch time we finally opened the bag of Popsicles that we had bought a while back.  K thought it was funny that his tongue was orange.  

We went to see the movie Planes (again) as well. 

Today is Grandparents Day. K spent some time Playing at Dommie and Poppo's. After that, we all went to the Park to have a Picnic and to Play some more.

Before the night was over K made a few Phone calls (grandparents!) and put on some PJs he hasn't worn in a while. Apparently we need to go on a PJ hunt...these are obviously too small! He's growing too fast!!

Dinner and friends

This kid cracks me up. We went to what used to be Kabuto on Fri for dinner. The Japanese steakhouses where they cook in front of you are Ks favorites! It has been a while since we have been and since this restaurant opened back up,  (his bday in Feb ws probably the last time we went to one like it) so we gave it a shot. As usual, K loved it. I didn't take any pics while we were there but caught this on the way out.
